Get in Touch with Our Team

At 4M Machine LLC, we make it straightforward to reach a real machinist who can help right away. Whether you need a reverse engineered replacement, a one-off prototype, or a scheduled production run, our team responds quickly with clear answers and next steps. Call or email, and include a short description of your part, your timeline, and any performance requirements. If a drawing is unavailable, bring the part; we will measure, document, and quote an accurate solution.

How to Request a Quote

To receive a quote, share as much detail as you can. Helpful information includes material, approximate dimensions or a drawing, required quantity, target tolerances, surface finish, any heat treatment, and delivery date. Tell us how the part is used and the environment it operates in, such as temperature, load, or exposure to chemicals.

The more context you provide, the more accurately we can recommend materials, machining processes, and cost saving options.

Drawings are welcome in any common format, but they are not required.

Photos with a ruler for scale, hand sketches with key dimensions, or a physical sample are all acceptable starting points for reverse engineering.

What to Expect After You Reach Out

When you contact us, we review your information and confirm any missing details. Next, we outline the machining approach, materials, and verification steps, then provide a clear price and lead time. For reverse-engineered parts, we measure the sample, capture critical dimensions, and create or update documentation. Before machining, we confirm tolerances and functional requirements to ensure the finished part fits, performs, and lasts.

For production programs, we save CNC programs, setups, and fixturing notes so repeat orders run consistently. This continuity shortens future lead times and ensures batches match the approved prototype or first article.

FAQs

  • Do I need drawings to request a quote?

No. Drawings are helpful, but they are not required. If you bring or ship a sample part, we can reverse engineer it, create documentation, and provide an accurate quote and lead time.

  • How quickly will I hear back?

During business hours, most inquiries receive a same day response. Complex projects may require follow up questions, but we will confirm receipt and provide an estimated review window right away.

  • Can you work to my quality requirements?

Yes. Tell us the tolerances, finishes, and inspection needs you require. We hold tight tolerances daily and can document critical features to align with your internal quality procedures.

  • Do you accept rush jobs?

We do when capacity and material availability allow. Share your target date and any non negotiable deadlines. We will prioritize scheduling, and if a rush is not possible, we will offer alternatives.

  • How do I send a large file?

Email is fine for most drawings, but if your file is very large, let us know and we will provide a secure upload option or accept your preferred transfer method.
